Why We’re Lost Without Twitter

Filed under: Law of Attraction, Social Media, Twitter — Tags: , — admin @ 9:25 am

Twitter is down, victimized by a “denial-of-service” attack.   And I am finding myself surprisingly lost.

I admit it…I just didn’t get Twitter in the beginning.  I really wasn’t interested in the when, where and why details of my tweeting  friends ‘ coffee orders or random thoughts.  Today I am missing Twitter, as it has been down for over 2 hours now.

Twitter has now become part of my daily routine…much like brushing my teeth, eating breakfast, and exercising.  Not a day goes by when I miss my appointment with the toothbrush.  Now I don’t miss a day without “tweeting” either.

Now I get it.  As I am missing Twitter, I realize what I am really missing is my connection to the many people who have become my friends, whom I now I communicate with daily.  In the same way I can’t remember life before cell phones or email, I dare say I am almost feeling the same way about Twitter.  There, I said it.

As a result of today’s outage, I embrace Twitter as the important touchstone it is in keeping me connected to my fellow man.  But there’s more, and it’s big:  Twitter is a Universal connector of energy on a scale never experienced before.  It is an awe inspiring example of the Law of Attraction at work…like is attracting like, as people with ideas and inspiration connect to people who are seeking ideas and inspiration.  The right people get the right information at the right time and forward it to the right people.  The energy duplicates itself and expands rapidly, gaining momentum as more people connect, and then connect to more people, and…………………… you get the idea.

I am now appreciating Twitter for the wonderful tool it is, but also for the remarkable reminder it has become of how powerful the Law of Attraction is.
