It is day 4 of the JOL Law of Attraction Challenge and I am having a marvelous time as I take more control over what is manifesting in my life experience! One thing that has been incredibly beneficial since I’ve started the experiment is my activity before bedtime. I have completely eliminated any television shows that stimulate negative thought for me. I have created a rule for myself that has had an amazing affect at shifting my attractive vibration: My last media exposure of the day must make me laugh. I love comedy and find that when I am engaged in a comedy act or funny movie I am able to completely forget any negative aspects happening in my life. It’s a healthy way to check out and begin a shift in vibration. When I decide to turn in, I put either relaxing music or an affirmative recording on. I really love Louise Hay’s “101 Power Thoughts” and “Morning and Evening Mediations.” As I hear the positive affirmations or music in the background, I think about all of the things I liked about the day and journal them. I now have a strong sense of well-being as I fall asleep.
The immediate benefits I have enjoyed as a result of this new routine are sounder sleep through the night, more positive dreams and a wonderful feeling of invincibility in the morning. This has been such a simple thing to do, yet it has completely shifted by vibration upon awakening. I have discovered the true meaning to “getting up on the right side of the bed!”

I first heard of doing this from Esther & Jerry Hicks in their book, Money & The Law Of Attraction. Since then, every night before I fall asleep as I get into bed I notice how comfortable my bed is, how soft the mattress is, how soft the sheets feel on my skin, how comfortable my head is on my pillow & just how relaxed I am. Then, I reflect back on all the highlights of my day, what I liked most. And, next thing I know I’m closing my eyes & falling asleep. I get the best sleep. I wake up feeling happy, full of energy, & excited for the day. Let me say that it didn’t happen overnight, but the shift occured quickly & easily. I did have to put forth the effort, but the effort was minimal. And, now that I’ve been doing this routine for quite a while, it’s become effortless.
I know exactly what you mean when you say you’ve discovered the true meaning of getting up on the right side of the bed because I have, too.
I would encourage anyone to put forth the effort. It’s well worth it! And, aren’t YOU worth it!
Thank you for sharing. It’s reminded me of just why I feel the way I do every day which is happy, happy, happy! I like your idea of watching something that makes you laugh before going to bed …. I’ll have to try that. Also, love, love, love “101 Power Thoughts” by Louise Hay! : )
